Ethical Dilemma

Victor Frankenstein is faced with the dilemma of creating another creature. This proposal is presented by his own Mo, who has had enough of the isolation and rejection. The monster feels that a new being who would face the same hatred that he has, would be relieving and fair for him to have. Frankenstein has two options. One, to refuse the proposal and have his life "destroyed" by Mo to where he eventually "curses his day of birth", or two, grant Mo of his request, and satisfy his deep wishes. If Frankenstein refuses this offer, Mo makes known that he will deliberately ruin Victor's life, hinting that he will bring even more death and destruction. If Frankenstein does agree to create a new monster, Mo promises to leave the life of hatred and live alone with his type, to bring no harm to Frankenstein's future, and appreciation to his creator. However, Victor is aware of the responsibility that this calls for. If Frankenstein fails, and his monster is created similar or worse than Mo, he is in charge of the trouble to come. Also, if Frankenstein creates another being, it may put his own life in danger with double the hatred from two very dangerous creatures. Because he has placed himself in this situation where it’s his life, or others, I believe that Victor should create a new monster and allow Mo to be free to a land where he is unknown. For the benefit of himself, and the benefit of others that the monster has promised, Frankenstein is better off free from the fear and danger from Mo, and Mo deserves to have a partner of his own kind to live in the world with.
